GRIMFIST w/ Frediablo Prytz (vocals, guitars, bass)
# What was your first album purchase? # What was your latest album purchase? That was an album by the American band Bleeding Through called This Is Love This Is Murderous. Fucking kick-ass music! # Which single album has changed your perception of music? Pantera ~ A Vulgar Display of Power. That album did and still does prove that there is no one even close to making as killer music as they did! It’s a shame how things turned out for them, and the Dimebag shooting is the most tragic thing ever, but luckily we have all those brilliant albums they created to drink to. # Which album would you pick up for your best friend? The Riverdance album because that fucker gets anyone dancing crazy… Haha! # And which album would you pick up for your worst enemy? Helga & Marie… They are two local bitches singing the most horrific music you could ever imagine. It’s pure shit, and I’m sure as fuck it would be a very effective tool in order to get people to talk instead of torturing them. Just put on that poison, and flies start dropping from the air ! # Which album would you use to seduce a person of the other sex? ‘The sound of my lovestick’ – haha! No, seriously... Maybe a soundtrack of some sort. It all depends on what girl and what kind of fuck I’m going for, but to drop names I would have to say David Gilmore ~ In Concert. It’s not a soundtrack but it kicks ass in a mellow fashion. Darkthrone, if I’m going to have urine-sex. # Your preferred album to fall asleep to? Ry Cooder ~ Southern Comfort # Your preferred album to wake up to/banish hangovers with? Riverdance, for sure. They have some of the most beautiful melodies; very Irish sounding. It’s fucking great! # Your preferred album to sing along to in the shower? Faith No More ~ The Real Thing. Mike Patton is by far the greatest vocalist to ever walk this fucking earth! At least of what I’ve heard. # Please recommend an album from the 80s! The Rocky IV Soundtrack. Tons of cheesy songs to get drunk to and some great instrumental tracks by Vince DiCola. Perfect when you’re boxing or jogging. # Please recommend an album from the 90s! A Vulgar Display of Power, for sure. That is my all-time favourite album by any stretch! # Please recommend an album from after the turn of the millennium! Bleeding Through ~ This Is Love This Is Murderous. # What is the most embarrassing album in your collection? Helga & Marie... Jesus Fucking Christ!!! # And what is the most valuable item in your record collection? A Vulgar Display of Power, baby! # Most represented band by raw numbers in your collection? Darkthrone or Pantera… I’m not entirely sure? # Most disappointing album you ever bought? Metallica ~ St. Anger. # Name the one album you would have loved the most to have contributed on? KoRn’s debut album. That is in my ears a masterpiece, and to this day it still holds the rank as one of my all-time top albums. Too bad they turned into a complete pile of shit, though, but their first two or three albums were great. # Name the album that you and your record collection lacks the most? The Remember The Titans soundtrack. Very beautiful music indeed. # Name the song you would like to have played at your funeral? “Fucking Hostile” by Pantera. # Name three albums you would bring along to a deserted island? Pantera ~ A Vulgar Display Of Power to keep the energy level up. Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack to the film Black Rain for mental inspiration Faith No More ~ The Real Thing so I can sing my guts out – if needed. Variation is the key to a harmonic existence.
