# What was your first album purchase?

I can’t remember, actually. I know that the first record I got when I was a child was Europe ~ Final Countdown. I think the first album I ever purchased was probably some shit record, anyway.

# What was your latest album purchase?

Morbid ~December Moon picture disc LP. One of the best demos ever.

# Which single album has changed your perception of music?

Memory loss here… I think it was Metallica ~ Master of Puppets in the 5th grade. (Since I could not play the guitar, I was amazed by how heavily they could use their guitars. I could simply not understand how they actually physically used their instruments to make it so heavy ~ and that was interesting).

# Which album would you pick up for your best friend?

Autopsy ~ Mental Funeral. A must-have.

# And which album would you pick up your worst enemy?

Invocator ~ Dying to Live. You’re from Denmark, right? Do the math!

# Which album would you use to seduce a person of the other sex?

The Mentors ~ You Axed for It.

# Your preferred album to fall asleep to?

Maybe not fall asleep, but in bed with headphones playing Mayhem ~ De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas is dreamlike.

# Your preferred album to wake up to/banish hangovers with?

Neil Young ~ Harvest. (with coffee)

But if I have to get going and get ready to drink again, I would play some Repugnant; probably Spawn of Pure Malevolence.   

# Your preferred album to sing along to in the shower?

You won’t hear me singing in the shower. But if I had to I would scream out the entire Repulsion ~ Horrified album. For “Acid Bath” I would scream a little more. 

# Please recommend an album from the 80s!

Bathory ~ Under the Sign of the Black Mark.

# Please recommend an album from the 90s!

Entombed ~ Clandestine.

# What is the most embarrassing album in your collection?

I have no shame for my record collection. The ones I like less I am still not ashamed over. But maybe the first LP I ever got: Europe ~ The Final Countdown. That’s embarrassing. I keep it for sentimental reasons.

# And what is the most valuable item in your record collection?

Hard to say… In general, I don’t know what records are worth. Maybe my Autopsy vinyls.

# Most represented band by raw numbers in your collection?

I have no list or anything like that – so I don’t know. But my guess would be Autopsy/Entombed or Voivod.

# Most disappointing album you ever bought?

Actually quite a few. The latest I was really disappointed with was probably Entombed ~ Inferno.

# Name the one album you would have loved the most to have contributed on?

Hmm, the records I would like to contribute to are already perfect. But it would have been cool to have been the combined vocalist/bass-player for Entombed ~ Clandestine. Or to be the real physical Boss HM-2 distortion pedal on the Nihilist ~ Drowned demo.

# Name the album that you and your record collection lacks the most?

Merciless ~ The Awakening, the DSP editions.   

# Name the song you would like to have played at your funeral?

Marduk ~ “Still Fucking Dead”.

# Name three albums you would bring along to a deserted island?

These questions are absurd! Three albums – shit… I guess I would stay on that island for the rest of my life, then??? If I brought:

Merciless ~ The Awakening

Angel Corpse ~ The Inexorable

Voivod ~ Killing Technology

…then I sure as hell would not be sorry.
