STRYCHNOS w/ Martin Leth Andersen (bass/vocals)
# What was your first album purchase? No Prayer for the Dying with Iron Maiden. Bought it when I was only 10 years old. # What was your latest album purchase? Kreator’s Enemy of God as I’m looking forward to see them on this year’s Wacken Open Air. The album is quite disappointing to me, though. # Which single album has changed your perception of music? Brutal Truth ~ Extreme Conditions Demands Extreme Responses, as I didn’t know music could be this fast until buying the album. # Which album would you pick up for your best friend? Purgatory Afterglow by Edge Of Sanity – great album! # And which album would you pick up your worst enemy? Celtic Frost ~ Cold Lake. Never heard it actually; just looked at the pictures and song titles – enough for me. Crappy as hell this must be… # Which album would you use to seduce a person of the other sex? None of the albums I own. Just have to take a look at my scoring statistics. # Your preferred album to fall asleep to? Can’t fall asleep while listening to music... # Your preferred album to wake up to/banish hangovers with? It varies a lot, but often as brutal as possible. # Your preferred album to sing along to in the shower? Iron Maiden ~ Caught Somewhere in Time. # Please recommend an album from the 80s! Reign in Blood – best album of the decade in my opinion. # Please recommend an album from the 90s! Seasons in the Abyss – best album of the decade in my opinion. # Please recommend an album from after the turn of the millennium! Vital Remains ~ Dechristianize. # What is the most embarrassing album in your collection? Celtic Frost ~ Cold Lake. # And what is the most valuable item in your record collection? King Diamond 1st print of the 1st vinyl EP (also called Nuns Have No Fun). # Most represented band by raw numbers in your collection? Iron Maiden, by far! # Most underrated album in your collection? Really don’t know. # Most disappointing album you ever bought? Covenant by Morbid Angel. I loved Blessed Are the Sick and hated the new stuff. Later on Covenant grew on me, though. # Name the one album you would have loved the most to have contributed on? Reign in Blood. Would have been great with some backing screams and maybe a growl or two... # Name the album that you – and your record collection – lacks the most? None at the moment. I lack Ceremony of Opposites by Samael, though. # Name the song you would like to have played at your funeral? I’m still planning that one, sorry. # Name three albums you would bring along to a deserted island? I feel like naming ten at least, but I’ll try: Slayer ~ Reign in Blood Judas Priest ~ Painkiller Morbid Angel ~ Blessed Are the Sick
