# What was your first album purchase?

That must have been more about 13 years ago, AC/DC ~ Live at Donnington on tape.

# What was your latest album purchase?

Well, not really a purchase as I got it as a trade, but that was the Earthflight MCD: great 70’s influenced metal with loads of NWOBHM influences.

# Which single album has changed your perception of music?

That has been Samael ~ Worship Him as it introduced me to the dark side of music, so to speak.

# Which album would you pick up for your best friend?

The last album I bought for my best friend was Roots ~ The Book, if I remember correctly.

# And which album would you pick up your worst enemy?

Could be probably any hiphop album ever recorded… That’s just not music to my ears!

# Which album would you use to seduce a person of the other sex?

Probably none. I made bad experiences with the first Impaled Nazarene album years ago, haha. Seriously, I think that depends on the person…

# Your preferred album to fall asleep to?

The Woven Hand ~ Consider the Birds did a good job at this during the last weeks.

# Your preferred album to wake up to/banish hangovers with?

Manowar ~ Kings of Metal without a doubt. Saved many a day for me.

# Your preferred album to sing along to in the shower?

That changes a lot. Most of the time this is ‘my temporary favourite album’. At the moment it would be Solstice ~ A New Dark Age and The Inchtabokatables ~ Too Loud, probably.

# Please recommend an album from the 80s!

Just one? That’s insane, man… But OK, here’s one: Venom ~ Welcome to Hell.

# Please recommend an album from the 90s!

Mayhem ~ De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas is an album that should be heard, definitely!

# Please recommend an album from after the turn of the millennium!

Tough choice between Melechesh ~ Sphynx and Primordial last opus! I’ll pick both, if that’s OK?!

# What is the most embarrassing album in your collection?

None – I don’t collect embarrassing albums, hehe. A lot of them could be called embarrassing by a lot of people, but I like them all. That’s why they are in my collection, you know.

# And what is the most valuable item in your record collection?

Probably Sepultura ~ Morbid Visions LP, original Cogumelo pressing, signed by Max and Igor.

# Most represented band by raw numbers in your collection?

That’s AC/DC, for sure. I have all their albums, plus most of the video/DVD stuff. Followed by New Model Army and Manowar.

# Most disappointing album you ever bought?

Remember a band called Lawnmower Deth? One of the few CD’s I did throw away, actually.

# Name the one album you would have loved the most to have contributed on?

Besides our new album on which I have contributed a bit, none. There are some people I would like to have worked with – but not albums. Most of these are more than good enough without my help.

# Name the album that you and your record collection lacks the most?

I could use the second Master’s Hammer album on LP, but apart from that nothing I won’t get if I really want it.

# Name the song you would like to have played at your funeral?

That’s a tough question. I like it a bit dramatic but I don’t really want people to waste their tears on my funeral. Anyways, here are some ideas: AC/DC – “For Those About to Rock”, Spear Of Destiny – “Never Take Me Alive”, Bathory – “A Fine Day to Die” and New Model Army – “Marry The Sea” would be all great choices.

# Name three albums you would bring along to a deserted island?

I’d rather take an acoustic guitar with me than to pick three albums without having a recorder or even electricity on a deserted island. Clever me, hahaha!
